(A) Courtship initiation was examined for the TNT/Gr68a mutant males, when paired with the decapitated “silent” females in dim-red light. (B) There was no significant difference between courtship latencies of the TNT/Gr68a mutant and the TNTIN/Gr68a control males (ND). Behavior was recorded in a rectangular chamber with dimensions 70 mm×10 mm×7 mm.
