Data are represented as the mean ± SD of n = 2 experiments. The coq3-HsCOQ3/Δcoq3 and coq7-HsCOQ7/Δcoq7 strains expressed the human genes containing a mitochondrial targeting sequence from S. pombe coq3 and coq7, respectively.
