Results of the DistLM marginal and sequential tests for the abundance of macro-infauna collected off southwestern Africa during 2003, with sediment texture characteristics, water-depth, latitude/site and distance from the Orange River mouth as predictors.

Sequential tests were conducted using the ‘step-wise’ procedure and adjusted R². Sediment size fractions were arcsine transformed, and all other variables log₁₀ transformed, prior to analysis. Residual DF = 79.
