KhanGenes encoding proteins of renin, angiotensin, and angiotensin receptor 2 were up regulated in the cortex and medulla of HLP-treated rats (Red bars) but interestingly down regulated in the HLP+Apocynin rats (Green bars). Angiotensin receptor 1and 1a showed differential expression for both the cortex and medulla in the HLP fed and HLP-Apocynin fed rats.
