Proportional sensitivity of stochastic population growth rate to vital rates.

<p>Results of stochastic elasticity analysis: (a) elasticity of stochastic population growth rate (λs) to changes in mean values of vital rates, (b) elasticity of <i>λs</i> to changes in variance of vital rates, and (c) overall stochastic elasticities. Vital rates are: <i>Pj</i> = juvenile survival, <i>Pa</i> = adult survival, <i>LS</i> = litter size, <i>BPj</i> = breeding probability (i.e., probability of successful reproduction) for yearlings, and <i>BPa</i> = breeding probability for adults.</p>
