(A) p120 KO small intestine and colon sections were co-stained for p120 and neutrophils. Arrows and arrowheads indicate regions of p120 ablation. (B) Neutrophils were quantified in oil and tamoxifen-induced small intestine (p = .06) and colon (p = .0092) samples. (C) At the two-month time point, mice were gavaged with FITC-dextran, and serum levels of FITC-dextran were measured to test for an intestinal permeability defect. FITC-dextran levels were significantly higher (3.3-fold) in p120 KO mice (p = .03).
