ButtThe growth of C. albicans in vitro was monitored spectrometrically over 24 h to determine the inhibitory effect of recombinant antimicrobial peptides cecropin D and gallerimycin. The maximum growth rate for C. albicans was 0.11, for galleriomycin and cecropin D were 0.06 and 0.08, respectively. Error bars indicate standard errors. Each experiment was triplicated.
