Wordfish estimates of the party positions on immigration in Switzerland, 1991 to 2011. This figure is not included in the research note (compare footnote 2). With the specification and texts used, the estimates are unrealistic. Note that other researchers have successfully applied Wordfish to (extracts of) party manifestos. The parties are SVP (dark green), FDP (blue), SPS (red), CVP (orange), and GPS (light green).
