Boscoe, xiuling zhangA zipped collection of .png files containing smoothed maps of the percentage of mammograms captured digitally in New York State from 2004-2012. Over this period, the percentage of digital mammograms rose from about 5% to about 95%. The maps show 12-month trailing averages, for a total of 97 maps. The maps were constructed in R and the code was written such that substituting alternative medical procedures or geographic locations would not be difficult.
Update, February 2017: In response to a reviewer's suggestion, the maps now include both screening and diagnostic mammograms, rather than just screening mammograms. The differences in the maps are negligible.
