Visualising diachronic change in the collocational profiles of lexical near-synonyms

To cite, please click the <i>cite</i> button.<br><br>This chapter presents a case study on diachronic change in the nominal collocational profiles of two near-synonymous temperature adjectives in English, i.e. <i>hot</i> and <i>warm</i>, over the last one and a half centuries (1860s-2000s).
