Two novel 3D coordination polymers {[Cd3(TCOPM)2dpe]·6H2O·DMF}n (1) and {[Cd3(TCOPM)2pdp]·5H2O·DMF}n (2) based on a C-centered tripodal flexible carboxylate ligand (H3TCOPM = tris(p-carboxyphenyl)methane) and two pyridine mixed ligands (dpe = 1,2-di-4- pyridylethene, pdp = 4,4′-Azopyridine) with (3.42)2(36.414.518.618.78.82)(3) net have been synthesized by hydrothermal method. MOFs 1 and 2 consist of an infinite 3D network using TCOPM3− and bpe/pdp as mixed bridge ligands. Fluorescence spectrum measurement indicates that MOF 1 shows strong fluorescence emission spectrum at 451 nm (λmax) in the solid state at room temperature and realizes tunable emission spectrum through tuning from single ligand to mixed ligand. CCDC 1496181 (1) and 1526766 (2).
