Track 1 Lightning Talk: Research Software in Brazil

In 2014, a survey in the UK showed how important research software is. On this paper, the author compares the data from the 2014 survey on the UK with new data from Brazil to discover that a quarter of Brazilian academics develop their own software as part of their work but never had training on software development.
