The invasion suppression assay of antibiotics

At 1 h after infection, the cell culture medium was exchanged for fresh medium containing GEN (100 μg/ml). One hour later, surviving intracellular bacteria were enumerated by plating. Data represent the means ± SD of three experiments with triplicate assays. *, < 0.05 (compared with control). ND, not detected.
