- Tuḷu was
the result of the effect of the Tāmiḷa on the vaḍukar
substratum; Konkani was the result of
the effect of the northern languages on the vaḍukar substratum, and, Teḷugu was
the result of the effect of both the Tāmiḷa
and the northern languages on the vaḍukar substratum.
