In early 2013, I created a guide to text & data mining services at Indiana University Bloomington Libraries, to answer frequently asked questions and put researchers in touch with the librarians who could help them negotiate access to publishers' databases.

After I left IUB Libraries, this guide was deleted following a major website overhaul. Because I'm still getting requests for this guide, I've decided to archive the guide here for posterity and discoverability.

Note that this guide was up-to-date as of March 2013 and it is no longer being actively maintained.

For questions regarding text and data mining at IU Bloomington Libraries, please contact the Reference Department at http://libraries.iub.edu/email-librarian.

Many thanks to the good people at the Internet Archive, whose Wayback Machine made it possible for me to retrieve this content.
