Holotype. ♀, "British N. Borneo, Tenompok, 1460m, Jesselton, 30 mi. E., I-26-31-1959," "T. C. Maa Collector Mo.," "Tenthredo sumatrana Fors., , det. R. B. Benson, 1956" (BMNH).
