Technical Problems With “Programmable self-assembly in a thousand-robot swarm”

The article "Programmable self-assembly in a thousand-robot swarm” published in Science is an exciting exposition on the use of technology to mimic certain aspects of self-assembly. However the published article had technical problems. This technical comment was earlier submitted to the authors of the published paper as well as the Science Editors however no technical response was received from either.
