VP70 long, VP34 and VP27 sequence fragments are based on processing data of human astrovirus capsid protein according to UniProt ID O12792 [24]. Cleavage sites are indicated by black arrowheads. VP70 short fragment is based on the predicted caspase cleavage site at aa position 554 as suggested by Expasy Peptide Cutter (white arrowhead). The figure was adapted from Krishna et al. [22] and modified by the authors.
