Riemer_2019_dogs_fireworks_data.xls

This database contains the raw data of a questionnaire on firework fears in dogs. Two main scores – a “Welfare Impaired” score as a measure of severity of firework fears and a “Fear progression” score – were used as dependent variables for analyses, such as exploring demographic influencing factors, the effect of training to prevent or treat firework fears, and measures taken by the owners during firework exposure. The effectiveness of various treatment options was evaluated based on owners’ perceptions of their effectiveness.
