This is a demonstration of the Ray Intersection Model (RIM) Python3 package. The RIM package itself is placed in the directory RIM.zip. Installation instructions are available in readme.md file. For the latest version of RIM, check the PiPy repository https://pypi.org/project/rim/ (we do not guarantee that newer versions of RIM will be compatible with scripts shared here). An IPython3 notebook (RIM_usage_example.ipynb) demonstrates how RIM can be used to calculate betweeness of spatial objects. 29_unimelb_buildings.geojson holds geometries of 29 buildings and unimelb_buildings_triplets.csv defines triplets of buildings (their ids) that should be considered in the betweeness analysis. The unimelb buildings are sourced from the OpenStreetMap.
