<div>This tarball contains the code used to calculate ultrastructure measurements in the scales of the butterfly <i>Heliconius erato</i>. The estimates are obtained by fitting the peaks of scattered intensity to bell-shaped functions and taking their centre as the magnitude of the scattering vector. The described procedure follows the interpretation of the scattering pattern of <i>Heliconius</i> scales in Parnell et al., 2018 (Ref. 9 main text).<br></div>
