One RM (37072) became infected after 1 low dose (104 PFU) inoculation, one RM (37812) became infected after 1 intermediate dose (105 PFU) inoculation, one RM (37812) became infected after 2 high dose (106 PFU) inoculations and another RM (40125) became infected after 5 high dose (106 PFU) inoculations. Plasma vRNA was detectable by day 4–6 PI and was cleared in 7–10 days.
