ON THIS DAY (October 19): Healing of War Veteran John W. Sproul Featured in Pittsburgh Newspaper: Miracle said to have occurred in revival meetings of the Bosworth Brothers

This is a little known story about John W. Sproul, a war veteran, who was healed in a revival meeting held by F.F. Bosworth and his brother, B.B. Bosworth. Sproul’s testimony appeared in the Oct. 19, 1921 issue of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Sproul had lost his voice as a result of a gas attack in France. He reportedly regained his voice immediately following prayer by the Bosworth Brothers. He became an evangelist.
