No place like home? Behind the internationalization of emerging market enterprises

thesis
posted on 2018-06-06, 04:30 authored by ZHENG YAN
This study examines the impact of home country to the internationalization of emerging market firms. By incorporating the concept of institutional work with traditional resource- and institution-based views of multinational enterprise (MNE) operations, this study finds that the state involvement via policymaking in the global expansion of firms is not only a top-down, but also a bottom-up process.
