Neurons on HD-MEA
Dissociated cortical neurons were plated on a high-density microelectrode array (MaxOne, http://www.mxwbio.com). The microelectrodes are shown as dark rectangles (5.45 um x 9.3 um). The center-to-center distance between electrodes is 17.5 um.
The culture was fixed and stained. This image was taken with a confocal microscope.
Immunostaining:
Blue - NeuN
Red - Beta-3 Tubulin
Green - Synaptophysin
