NSF Activities to Support Software for Next Generation Systems

Abstract: The National Science Foundation (NSF) recognizes the challenges faced by computational and data-enabled scientists in dealing with next generation computer systems. In response, NSF is promoting and funding software opportunities that include education, training, research, development, and ongoing maintenance and support. This talk will discuss these activities and some representative projects.
