Animation of quadupedal lateral sequence walking with a duty factor approaching 1 suitable for grazing, with the assumption that the each limb is swung forwards when it is minimally loaded (longest). This does not maximise the polygon of support area (it becomes an isosceles trapezium - grey polygon), but correctly accounts for foot timing observed in grazing livestock.
