Sample trajectories of T. thermophile. One cell with a black trajectory shows the avoiding reaction, whereas the others swim with no reaction. The original movie was taken with a 4× objective lens at a rate of 29 frames per second (fps), and it is played at the same frame rate. The height of the movie is 809 µm, and the width is 935 µm.
