This blog post takes a
look at an unfortunate incident involving Evangelist Maria Woodworth-Etter
(1844-1924) and its connection to the San Francisco earthquake in 1906. In
1890, Woodworth-Etter and others predicted a tidal wave and earthquake would
strike San Francisco. However, the prediction did not come true. When the 1906
earthquake occurred, Woodworth-Etter saw it as a fulfillment of her 1890
prophecy.
