Landowner gender Edinburgh 1804

This dataset is computed from the National Library of Scotland Land-ownership boundaries 1804 dataset (sourced from John Ainslie’s 1804 map).

The dataset contains a the gender of each landowner in the original NLS dataset (calculated from titles and names). This dataset does only contain the a column with the NLS record ID and a gender marker.

Possible values for gender includes: o (organization/none), u (unknown), m (male), and f (female).
