Acute meningitis is a medical emergency and accurate prediction of this infection, especially in resource-limited situations, could help physician to accelerate treatment and reduce the mortality and morbidity of patients. Jolt accentuation of headache (Jolt) is an easy clinical manuever for diagnosis of meningitis, but its diagnostic accuracy is controversial. We aimed to evaluate this maneuver, compared to classic maneuvers for diagnosis of acute meningitis.
