Sapling leaf and root traits from 6.6 km Jianfengling transect

Data collected during the summer of 2017 in Jianfengling, Hainan Island, China. Juvenile tropical trees, sampled for leaves and roots. Leaves and roots scanned, dried and weighed. Morphological traits quantified with WinRhizo and WinFolia. Soil collected, sieved and sent for analysis by the Guangzhou Xinhua Agricultural Limited Company. Plant functional trait and soil data shared.
