Over four years, the International Librarians Network (ILN) provided free online peer-mentoring to over 5,500 participants from 130 countries. Participants used the program to explore the international world of librarianship, building global networks and sharing knowledge with colleagues around the world.

The ILN was completely volunteer run. This document outlines the position descriptions for all volunteers, outlining the roles they performed and the skills that we deemed necessary when recruiting for the role.

This document is a part of the supplementary material the ILN team is releasing under a CC-BY license to support and encourage other library groups to develop their own programs.
