A bit about the experiment:
16 DGRP lines were crossed to 3 mutations (sd 1, sd E3, sd 58d) and a wildtype (SAM)
The effects of intermediate mutation on different lines, whether the severity of this effect varied across the different lines is being investigated.

Microscope, camera used. Leica m125 with a Leica DFC400 camera, using Leica Application Software 3.4.0. Greyscale images.

Each image is 1392 x 1040 px. Real size 2.59 x 1.93 mm

Magnification : 50X (0.5X?)
aperture about halfway across (59%)
Brightness: 68%
Gamma: 0.80

Notes:
naming convention for images: SAM/sd1/sde3/sd58d_line#_M_1/2/3/4/5/6.TIF

SAM/sd1/sde3/sd58d - either the wild type (SAM) allele for scalloped, or allele 1, E3 or 58d
