Identity Awareness: Toward an Invisible e-Infrastructure for Identifying Data and Authors; eResearch Australasia 2012

In this paper, we describe identity awareness in the context of e-Infrastructure and looks at the interoperability of identifiers for datasets, researchers and research projects. In addition, we discuss the role of Australian National Data Service (ANDS) in the European Union (EU) funded ORCID and DataCite Interoperability Network (ODIN) project.
