GloBI Explorer Interactive Ecosystem Explorer

Global Biotic Interactions (GloBI) provides access to species association data through aggregation of various biotic interaction datasets. We propose three interactive approaches to exploring this diverse data store. First, an interactive card-based application allows free exploration of interaction data through drill down of taxon contact cards. Second, a columnar network visualization records a drilldown exploration of a taxon's network. Finally, a map-based bipartite graph allows exploration of interactions between two organisms within a particular geographic region.
