Mapping file and 454 raw sequence file for 16S rRNA gene sequencing of bacterial communities from deglaciating soil of Mendenhall Glacier (MG) located in southeast Alaska, USA and Easton Glacier (EG) located in the North Cascade mountains of Washington, USA. Sampling was done in late summer or early fall of 2010.
