Flora of the canga of the Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil: Chrysobalanaceae

PranceAbstract This taxonomic treatment comprises the species of Chrysobalanaceae recorded in the cangas of the Serra dos Carajás, Pará state. Four genera and seven species occur in the study area, none of which endemic to the region: Hirtella (3 spp.), Licania (2 spp.), Leptobalanus (L. octandrus), and Moquilea (M. egleri). The treatment includes keys, descriptions, illustrations, and comments for all treated taxa.
