In this blog post, the writer reviews Gerald W. King's mention of F.F. Bosworth in the book, Disfellowshiped: Pentecostal Responses to Fundamentalism in the United States, 1906-1943. Attention is given to King's account of evangelical leaders who embraced Bosworth's healing ministry, while also opposing the practice of speaking in tongues. The writer disagrees with King's view that Oswald J. Smith and Harry A. Stemme probably did not know about Bosworth's Pentecostal background -- and the fact that he spoke in tongues.
