FDA Presentation at the E.U. Parliament Event: Why computer modelling is the next evolution of the healthcare sector

With In Silico offering an understanding of complexity on a scale never before known in human history, the concept of the right treatment for the right patient at the right time no longer becomes an aspiration – it becomes standard practice.

The Avicenna Alliance organized a large-scale international conference at the European Parliament presenting the newest developments of In Silico medicine. The conference will have a global dimension bringing together speakers from e.g. the EU, the USA, and India.

The collective work of Avicenna members from around the world will be showcased. Speakers including EU policy makers and a representative from the FDA will also present key insights on their perspectives on computer modelling and simulation in healthcare.

This presentation is the FDA's contribution to share our successes and next steps with in silico medicine.
