Experimental strain maps on spine segment

Each movie shows the measurements of max and min principal strains on the anterior surface of a lumbar spine segment loaded with a state-of-the-art spine simulator in different loading conditions (flexion/extension, lateral bending, axial torsion) up to 7.5 Nm.
