Entrepreneurship and SMEs Development: Its Role in Reducing Poverty and Unemployment in Nigeria

The paper examines the importance of Entrepreneurship and SME’s development as a way of addressing the mounting youth unemployment in Nigeria. It considers the need for youths to cultivate entrepreneurship spirit while government policies and programmes must be aimed at the development of SME’s to help alleviate hunger and poverty through wealth creation and enhancement of the informal sector of the economy.
