El contagio del bostezo y el contagio emocional: desarrollo atípico de la empatía en el autismo

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impairments in social interaction and the presence of restricted and repetitive behaviors that emerges from complex interaction of genetic and environmental factors. This paper proposes a quasi-experimental design based on that yawning facilitates emotional contagion, being one of the precursors of empathy. We want to find out if it is true that women with ASD are more susceptible to contagious yawning and how this behavior varies throughout the development.
