These documents (available in .pdf and .docx formats) were created using the DMPonline tool, which provides templates for structuring major research funders' DMPs. The documents include the guidance text provided in the tool, produced by the Digital Curation Centre (DCC), the EC H2020 programme and the University of Sheffield Library.
The Commission is running a flexible pilot under Horizon 2020 called the Open Research Data Pilot (ORD pilot). Projects participating in the pilot must submit an initial version of the DMP, as a deliverable within the first 6 months of the project. The DMP needs to be updated over the course of the project whenever significant changes arise.
