Do Product Market Power and Business Strategy Affect Audit Risk? Some Evidence from Audit Fees

This study examines the relationship between product market power and audit fees in the United States. The result from this study shows that there is a negative association between product market power and audit fees. In addition, business strategy is found to have a role to moderate this relationship.
