Keynote lecture for the Introduction to Integrative Omics course at the EMBL-EBI on 8 March 2016. Two use-cases are presented: (1) Integration of mass spectrometry based proteomics and RNA-Seq transcriptomics - caveats and mapping; (2) Combining exerimental spatial proteomics and third-pary data using transfer learning to improve inference of sub-cellular localisation of proteins.
