Standard model parameter set. Units of nitrogen compounds and microbial biomass are µM N. Oxygen is in units µM O2. Output.Mocn is ocean (1), land (0) mask (dimensions: y,x,z) to grid tracers and rates. Model code is available upon request (jpenn@uw.edu).
NH4 measurements are from a cruise aboard the R/V Thomas G. Thompson in April 2012 to the eastern tropical North Pacific anoxic zone.
