Microbial ecosystem model output from Penn et al., PNAS 2019. 10 years of monthly averaged simulated tracer and rate fields. Standard model parameter set. Units of nitrogen compounds and microbial biomass are µM N. Oxygen is in units µM O2. Output.Mocn is ocean (1), land (0) mask (dimensions: y,x,z) to grid tracers and rates. Model code is available upon request (jpenn@uw.edu).

NH4 measurements are from a cruise aboard the R/V Thomas G. Thompson in April 2012 to the eastern tropical North Pacific anoxic zone.
