Here's the cover letter I submitted when applying for an E-Science Librarian position with Indiana University Bloomington in August 2011. I was hired in December 2011.

I'm making this available to others so they can see more examples of library cover letters that are appropriately written to suit the requirements of particular jobs. (There are surprisingly few online!)
