In this work, we consider a spatio-temporal modified May-Holling-Tanner predator-prey models with alternative food sources for the predator, predator and prey growth rate as a logistic type and Holling type II functional response. We identify regions in parameter space in which Turing instability are expected. Moreover, we look for traveling wave solutions for the modified May-Holling-Tanner predator-prey model and we use simulations to illustrate the behaviour of the spatio-temporal modified model.
