The deduced amino acid sequences of ErbB1 (A), ErbB2 (B), and ErbB4 (C), whose partial cDNA clones were isolated from newt testis containing spermatogonial stage by RT-PCR, were aligned with those from mammals and . The residue numbers are shown at the both sides. The positions where the amino acid residues of ErbB1, ErbB2, and ErbB4 are identical and distinct among species are indicated in black and shaded letters, respectively.
